Dogs listed on the “Petmobile” are temporarily out at an adoption event and can be met and adopted at the event if you are approved. Adoption applications can be downloaded from our website and then emailed or brought in, or you can fill an application out in person at the shelter. All adoptions are first come, first served and we are unable to place holds. Cats listed in “Cat Adoption” or “Cat Overflow” can also be found onsite. Any dogs on our website located in “Stray Dogs” or “Dog Adoption” are available onsite at our shelter and can be seen there. Adopters are welcomed and encouraged to email in an application and become pre-approved before visiting. Potential adopters are required to have an application filled out and approved before being taken back to visit with our animals. Our other services such as finalizing adoptions (on animals adopters have already met with), reclaims, microchipping, and licensing will continue during the 30 minutes before close. ![]() These guests are still welcome to fill out and submit their application in order to have it pre-approved for future visits. Guests who arrive 30 minutes before closing will be asked to return another day to view our adoptable animals. Animals will be visible on the website as soon as they are placed as available for adoption and will be removed automatically when they are adopted.
